The two get to e-mails discussing the different levels of spirituality, and how to encourage your spouse to become a stronger Christian. Debbie brings e-mails to the show looking for help with a sexless marriage, and dating men that claim to be Christian.
It’s Friday! Mark and Debbie open the show with an article out of Time Magazine, Is There Hope for the American Marriage? The article reveals that there is a dramatic difference in children raised with a father and those raised without a father. The article even quotes several single parents and feminists that support that conclusion.
Debbie and Mark get to e-mails on the show this morning; starting with one from a man that is sharing his experience in an angry marriage and is wondering how to save his marriage, another e-mail from a distraught wife whose husband wants to go on vacation without her.
Then, Mark comes up with a great idea to have a butt kickin’ woman’s conference! If you would be interested in attending a woman’s conference hosted by Mark Gungor please send us an e-mail at radio@laughyourway.com
On today’s show Mark and Debbie start off discussing an MSN article about the link between devoted dads and risky teen sexual behavior and further discuss studies that show the spiritual value and influence of fathers. (Additional article here) Mark tackles the subject of sex toys and whether or not they are appropriate and if masturbation is okay when couples are separated for long periods of time. He answers an email on sex drives and how to deal with the differences, and one from a woman who asks how to deal with a husband who plays video games continuously.
On today’s show Mark talks about when a wife is harsh and critical, finding both sides to the story in marriage difficulties, the best age to marry, gay marriage, flirting, midlife crisis, the importance of fathers, forgiveness, when men demean, swear and curse at women, dealing with blended family issues, drawing the lines with teen behavior, how to help couples during marriage difficulties, doing the wrong things expecting God to bless you, and obeying the general will of God for your life to find the specific will.
