What is the problem with giving condoms to 11-year-olds? An article sparks the discussion to start the show. An listener wonders if women put up with bad behavior from guys simply because the think it’s “normal”, a woman wants to know if they should wait to have kids until their finances are in order, and another woman is trying to “get off the island” and get help with her angry husband.

Mark broadcasts live this morning from Lafayette, Louisiana! The 2 open the show with new survey results that reveal a lack of trust in 45% of marriages.

We start with an e-mail from a husband that wants to know if its better to stay in a broken marriage for the sake of the kids, or leave because it’s basically over. A woman e-mails about heavy ‘petting’ and wanting to date a former boyfriends brother. E-mails also ask about birth control, and a husband that works at home is using the excuse that he needs to ‘get out of the house’ to have lunch with other women.

Debbie opens the show with condoms. Her and Mark discuss the article, “Safe Sex” with Condoms Bad for Mental Health, Psych Researcher Finds.  The article focuses on a study by Stuart Brody that supports the argument that sex without condoms is better for mental health, therefore married sex is best!

Mark plays an audio clip from Dr. Laura, and then invites Susan Dutton Freund to the program, the founder and leader of www.thinkmarriage.org. Mark and Susan talk about the importance of waiting until marriage to have sex, and the difference it would make if women waited until marriage to have sex.

Mark and Debbie get to e-mails on the show covering homosexuality, pornography, dealing with a man’s ego, and a cheating husband.
