Mark continues his vacation in Hawaii! Mark and Debbie open the show with an interesting article about Christian couples staying faithful online, and the benefits of having joint e-mail and Facebook accounts.

Mark and Debbie get to an e-mail on the show dealing with disciple and developing consequences for children.  Debbie brings an e-mail to the show from a wife that has been struggling in her marriage for 20 years and Mark explains the importance of making the choice to be happy in life.

Another e-mail comes to the show from a husband who has been married for 13 months and is very unhappy with his ‘emotional’ wife.

They discuss the excuses the church is using to delay marriage, the reasons people give for waiting to start a family, and the trouble with individualism.  During the interview, Steve and Candice share their findings on the biological effects of waiting to have kids, and the positive effects children have on a marriage and a family.

Mark discusses community marriage initiatives, covenant marriage, the idea that you can love your spouse and still be involved in an affair, women allowing men to help them at home, the need for mentors in your marriage, when you have to choose between your spouse and your child, the need for men to experience consequences to change their behavior, why reasoning, whining, yelling and silence usually won’t work with a man, and being a lover to your spouse rather than being selfish in sex.

Mark and Debbie get to e-mails on the show regarding a wife who is tired of living with her in-laws, a family that wants to have more children but is concerned about finances and a lady that doesn’t want to call her mother-in-law ‘mom.’ Mark and Debbie also talk about having consequences in a relationship and how people often jump to conclusions about using them before they even try.
