The show begins with a story out of BYU telling how husbands and wives deal with gaming and marriage. Then Mark answers an email from a husband dealing with his wife’s self-esteem issues, a young girl needs dating advice because her boyfriend’s parents don’t approve of her, and a woman wonders what to tell her Christian sister who is condoning her friend’s adultery. A new mom writes an email that causes some concern for the crew, an UNBELIEVABLE story of a rape case is shared and a newly married couple wants to know if porn is okay to spice up their marriage bed.
The show starts today with an interesting list of things you can’t do once you’re married. Then Mark shoots straight with a woman who has not closed the door to divorce in her marriage, and answers a question from a guy who is upset about the sins of others….but not worried about his own.
On today’s show Mark picks up where he left off yesterday discussing the idea of “unconditional love”. He answers an email from a woman whose husband doesn’t initiate sex with her, a listener who wants to know the Biblical definition of adultery vs. unfaithfulness, and another from a young woman who has a very complicated dating scenario she needs help with.
Mark and crew start off the show with an article on “How to Avoid Pornography”. Then he goes off on an email that basically amounts to “wife swapping” between two couples that are friends…and it’s upsetting the kids. A guy wants help because he can never come up with the right answer for his wife, and another guy made a mistake and tripped up by watching porn and masturbating and wonders if he should tell his girlfriend.
Mark is home from South Africa and we have a NEW SHOW! Do “responsible” parents let their kids have sex in their homes because it’s “safer’? The article that Diane brings to kick off the show says that some people think so! A woman wants Mark’s thoughts since she doesn’t want to put her child in a class at a Christian school after the teacher had an affair. A young man wonders if 21 is too young to date or marry, a wife needs advice on handling her pot-smoking hubby, and a young bride-to-be wants guidance on what to expect on her wedding night.
