Mark and Debbie open the show with an article from U.S. Catholic, Don’t wait for marriage.

A husband writes the show about not having enough sex with this wife, but he admits that he doesn’t try. A wife e-mails the show that wants to leave her husband, but she is concerned about her children. Mark answers a birth control question and a daughter writes into the show on behalf of her mother.

    Birth Control! What to do!!!

To your emailer, I know my wife and I would recommend looking into Natural Family Planning. We were in this place a year ago, and emailed Mark. At the time he didn’t touch the subject :) Anyways, we heard about Natural Family Planning (NFP) at church (not Catholic btw) and my wife went from not wanting to do it, to being a fanatic. She’s took ownership of her body and cycle. She and a few other women in our home community (small group) started looking into together, and they’ve really bonded over learning and teaching each other.

    To Lynne,

Congratulations. We are also pregnant with our first (@22wks). I dont know what you and Lance have discussed with the giving birth aspect, but after talking with other couples and women who’ve had children, and doing our own research we switch from the typical OB/GYN to a midwife at a birthing center and going natural. This isnt “no drugs, gritting through the pain in the woodshed, but Husband Coached Childbirth – The Bradley Method. Obviously we have not gone through it completely, but it seems recommend and our friends are going through it for the first time in 5 weeks. Check it out. I’d be happy to report their experience to you.

To Mark and Debbie, snip snip not good, it completely screws with a man’s hormones and also has been shown to be attributed to prostate cancer, the whole tube tying thing has yet to show any lasting effects on the women, so snip snip bad, tie tie, good.
