This show is about being gruntled.

Back in Green Bay, WI this morning, Mark and Debbie open the show with an surprising new study, Most Young Adults: Oral Sex Is Not Sex. The two continue to discuss the culture today and the sexual behavior of young people.

A wife writes in asking if men can have sex without any feelings, and how to reason with her husband about having dinner with another woman. A wife keeps telling her husband she is going to leave him, even though she knows it’s wrong. Mark explains how women can hear something over and over again and will not listen to a word, but men will hear it once and make a change. A man wants to know when to be totally honest, even when your wife asks a  ‘no-win questions.’

I heard an interesting comment from an older couple from Egypt that had an arranged marriage. They had some young people ask about how they could love each other with such a situation. (Some speculated that it was a miracle that there was “chemistry” between them.) They said that they chose to love each other and not have a “chemically dependent” marriage.

My fiance and I keep laughing about that. You can imagine that it has been absorbed into our common vocabulary and we are terribly gruntled whenever we get the chance to use it :P

Thank you for the great shows! We are actually getting ready for this weird step in our lives: marriage! Imagine that… :)

Husbands should just do what my brother did to me when i asked him the “do i look fat question”. My brother would simply answer “yes” regardless of what i was wearing so i finally stopped asking him because it was a dead end. but shhh.. don’t tell that to my husband…
