My parents had birth children, raised them, realized that they could give more once they were not always broke. Once they were established they adopted me in their 50s!! I got married when I was in my mid thirties. By 30 I was spiritually grounded, emotionally settled, had traveled the world, and was ready to make the commitment for a long-term marriage, plus more patient with our 5 kids. Waiting later in life to have children can be also GREAT!!! My parents had birth children, raised them, realized that they could give more once they were not always broke.
