On today’s show Mark expresses his disgust and frustration with a comment someone made on his blog post Abstinence Pledges Fail, that tries to justify why pre-marital sex is not a sin.
Mark and Debbie get to e-mails on the show regarding a wife who is tired of living with her in-laws, a family that wants to have more children but is concerned about finances and a lady that doesn’t want to call her mother-in-law ‘mom.’ Mark and Debbie also talk about having consequences in a relationship and how people often jump to conclusions about using them before they even try.

Hi, I heard you talking about making hard situations in a marriage fun. Well when my hhusband and i first got married we finally had our own place…however we were missing a few kitchen iteams. for example we had one bowl…which was really a candy dish, that my husband and i had to take turns eating cereal in the morning. I had to cut EVERYTHING with a butter knife..including an onion (which i don’t recommend) and we both had to squish on the couch to sleep. But we laughed everyday, making jokes about our situation and it really helped to take off the stress and the frustration. after a month or so we had the money to buy a few more bowls and few sharp knifes! Laughter is an amazing thing!
