Mark and Debbie open the show with a discussion about a recent NY Times blog, Seeking to Pre-empt Martial Strife

A wife is ready to divorce her husband because of the constant fighting and him telling her he wants to be single and wishes she were dead. When you accuse your spouse of something, and they deny it, how do you handle it without proof? Mark and Debbie discuss the movie, Pretty Woman. A woman e-mails back about her self-gratification and how it happens in her sleep. A continuing saga from a husband comes in who wants more sex from his wife and has threatened to leave, but his wife says he doesn’t have his priorities straight.

I would like to address the pastors wife who was wondering if angry men deny doing things. I am a child of a Pastor that had sever anger issues and was Physically abusive. He denies it to this day and my mother backs him up because she has always been the dutiful doormat. I however as an adult had to draw the line in the sand and say ” NO MORE” It was hard, it took him two years back down and finally change his behavior. What I think helped the most was his parishioners asking about me and him not being able to tell them anything. It was hurting his reputation just what Mark was saying. People started to talk. My mothers constant crying I’m sure wore him down too. TAKE MARKS ADVICE! It works I am living proof. He has changed a lot in the last couple of years and we have a much better relationship. I can finally say I love my Dad which was not something I could do before. Hang in there I’ll be praying for you.
