The film “The last airbender” is bad, I won’t argue about it. But the TV show it was based on is phenomenal. It is probably one of the best cartoons ever created, so if you don’t know anything about it, don’t say one of the reasons the film sucks it’s because it is based on a cartoon.
Actually, if you have a chance you should see the 3 seasons of “Avatar: The last airbender” to see what an atrocity Shyamalan made with it by turning it into such a horrible movie. And maybe you will change your mind about the story, characters, etc. You’ll be surprised how great the TV show is compared to the film.
